String Quartet - Proposal - Rosie and Ryan

Our last job of 2015 was certainly one to remember.

Ryan had planned the perfect proposal for Rosie and kept it a surprise from her until he popped the question! Ryan had organised for Rosie to be pampered and have her nails done the day before. On the day, the couple enjoyed a picnic together, before he took her for a romantic walk around the gardens.

He led her to a clearing, where our string quartet was set up and playing Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years'. Rosie was clearly surprised and a crowd of passersby had started to gather. He embraced her, got on one knee and proposed. The crowd were taking photos furiously - but they didn't need to; Ryan had already arranged a photographer (who was in the bushes taking photos!).

The crowd dispersed and we played Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud' while the pair danced together. Just as Rosie thought the celebrations were over, Ryan led her to their waiting horse and carriage. They finished the evening with a horse-drawn tour of the park and a bottle of champagne.
