QUARTET from $750

It's no mistake that many popular bands have four members. With a tune, harmony, rhythm and bass, a quartet provides the most well-rounded sound.

• Our flagship group is the string quartet (2 violins, viola & cello).

• Option available to swap one of the violins to form a flute quartet (flute, violin, viola & cello).

• Includes a viola, which sounds higher than the cello but lower than violins, providing a beautifully blended, complex ensemble sound.

• Suitable for both intimate occasions (our smallest audience was a proposal for two!) and large functions.

• An acoustic act that can be amplified for significantly large audiences.

• Can change locations quickly if needed - usually in under 10 mins.

• The choice between a string quartet or flute quartet is completely a personal preference as both can play the same music.

TRIO from $630

If you're comparing the trio to the quartet or duo, keep in mind that they create a similar atmosphere. The trio is the best option for any event where the quartet is not suitable.

• Our most popular trio is the string trio (2 violins & cello)

• Option available to swap one of the violins to make a flute trio (flute, violin & cello).

• A reduction of the quartet which omits the viola. It sounds more stripped back than the quartet but richer than the duo.

• Suitable for both intimate occasions (our smallest audience was an anniversary dinner for two!) and moderately large functions.

• An acoustic act that can be amplified for significantly large audiences.

• Can change locations quickly if needed - usually in under 10 mins.

• The choice between a string trio or flute trio is completely a personal preference as both can play the same music.

• A trio requires approx. 2m x 2m of floor space.

DUO from $500  

Our simplest ensemble with no frills is perfect for those working with a small venue or budget. It's a small ensemble that punches well above its weight.

• Our most popular duo is the string duo (violin & cello).

• A reduction of the trio which omits a violin. With just the tune and bass, the string duo provides a stripped back sound.

• Better suited to small events but can accommodate some larger functions, within reason.

• An acoustic act that can be amplified for large audiences.

• Can change locations quickly if needed - usually in under 15 mins.

• Harp & violin duo available on request.

• Piano & cello duo available on request.

SOLOIST from $400

For an understated musical touch a solo performer is the perfect solution. Our musicians are confident artists who will brighten any event.

• Our most popular soloist is the violin.

• A reduction of the duo, soloists play just the tune of a song without any backing or accompaniment. We recommend contacting us when choosing your music to select the most suitable songs.

• A solo violinist can rove around a space while playing.

• Best suited to small, intimate events.

• An acoustic act that can be amplified, but we would recommend considering a duo, trio or quartet for larger audiences.

• Can change locations quickly if needed - usually in under 10 mins.

• Piano and harp soloists are also available.

• A solo violinist requires approx. 1 m x 1 m of floor space.

GUITAR & VIOLIN DUO from $500

From Sunday sesh vibes to a romantic dinner..

HANDY HINTS

• You don't need to have any music chosen at the time of booking - this can be confirmed later.

• We recommend having a wet weather plan if your event is outdoors as we cannot have our instruments in the rain. Please also ensure there is shade as our instruments are easily heat damaged.

• The number of guests the ensemble can cater for depends on a combination of factors. Please call if you're unsure whether your preferred ensemble will be loud enough. The event type (cocktail vs wedding ceremony), location (indoors vs outdoors), building type (church vs restaurant), room flooring (carpet vs tiles) and more all affect how well the sound of our instruments can travel.

• Wedding ceremonies with religious components have a minimum booking time of 1 hr 15 mins. Full nuptial masses/services have a minimum booking time of 1 hr 30 mins. Our experience shows that shorter bookings for these weddings always run overtime, creating problems on the day.

• Choose your booking time carefully. We'll do our best to stay if your event runs overtime but this can't be guaranteed and overtime fees will be charged. For events where music is required right up until the event ends (such as wedding ceremonies) consider adding an extra 10 - 30 mins for your peace of mind.
