We received a call from the groom just two days before the wedding! The couple's booked musicians had cancelled at the last minute and they were suddenly left with no music for their wedding. Luckily, we were able to send our violin and cello duo to the rescue!
The bride and groom wanted a mashup of two very different songs for the bridal entrance: Pachelbel's 'Canon in D' and Green Day's 'Basket Case'. Our violinist, Jennifer, wrote the sheet music in just a few hours and it was ready to go for the wedding.
We were delighted to be involved in such a fun and funny ceremony (the rings were accidentally dropped in the sand!). The WA weather was hot as usual but the beautiful scenery made up for it all.
This beautiful Bunker Bay wedding featured the following songs:
- Processional: Mashup of Pachelbel's 'Canon in D' and Green Day's 'Basket Case'
- Signing of the Register: 'A Thousand Years' - Christina Perri
- Recessional: 'Happy' - Pharell
Buddy and Rachel- thank you so much for involving us in your big day.
