String Trio- Wedding, Lynda and Daniel

"Riverside Ensemble performed trio at my wedding ceremony at church. They were amazing, timely, professional and flexible. They responded to my every enquiries and shared their recommendations when I asked for their thoughts on how many hours to book for. Their song list is versatile-- which was perfect for me because I wanted a mix of both modern and classic tunes/music. Guests were so happy with their performance and I've received great feedback from the guests on Riverside Ensemble. And I walked down the aisle to them playing Canon in D-- they did it very beautifully! I would recommend them to anyone who are interested in lightening up the ambience in their weddings. And I would hire Riverside Ensemble again for any future events." - Lynda (Bride)

Lynda and Daniel's wedding ceremony was a very understated and intimate event. That doesn't make it any less special though- the ceremony was very moving and involved their entire church community.

The couple chose very traditional pieces of music for their ceremony but contemporary songs for background music. Lynda walked down the aisle to 'Canon in D' (Pachelbel). The couple signed the register to the traditional hymn Amazing Grace and exited to the traditional Wedding March (Mendelssohn). Background music was a rotating of songs by Coldplay, Beyonce, The Verve, Eric Clapton and other artists.

The ceremony was held at their local Christian Church. The small community of people were clearly very close to each other and music played a big role in their worship. After some prayers at the beginning of the ceremony, friends of the couple lead the congregation in hymns. Then, towards the end of the ceremony, our string trio provided accompaniment for 'O Perfect Love,'- another hymn. It was very moving to see an entire room of people singing and sending their well wishes to the couple in this way.

Lynda and Daniel- thank you for trusting us with the music on your big day. We wish you all the best.
